Running Glassfish on Joyent

Joyent is the ideal cloud computing platform for running Sun’s brilliant Glassfish server. Why? Because, on Joyent, you can run Glassfish at 64-bit straight out of the box.

Today, Kent Langley threw together a quick wiki page entitled How to Install GlassFish on Joyent Accelerator to help you get up and running.

  2. You may be able to get it to run but it would likely be pretty resource constrained in production. Glassfish is resource intensive just by itself. I really would recommend 1 GiB and up for that server.
